The stream selection counseling is for students of 9th and 10th grade who want more information on choosing the right stream in the XI and XII grade. This session will help bring in clarity about the choice of the stream by interacting with our senior counselor about various careers opportunities that exist in various streams and skill required to pursue the chosen subject. There will be no psychometric tests conducted during the session and the session will last for 40-60 minutes. The session can be attended by the student alone or with the parents and will be conducted either face-to-face or over a Zoom video call.
Students and Parents of 11th & 12th
The Under Graduate studies counseling session is for students of 11th and 12th grade who want more information on choosing a UG subject after 12th. This session will help bring in clarity about the various subjects and courses available in various colleges that the student can apply to with his/her academic background. The students will be interacting with our senior counselor about various careers and opportunities available in the UG courses and the skill required to pursue the chosen subject. There will be no psychometric tests conducted during the session and the session will last for 40-60 minutes. The session can be attended by the student alone or with the parents and will be conducted either face-to-face or over a Zoom video call.
IGCSE, O Level, AS & A Level
With many international schools cropping up, IGCSE, AS and A Level are popular options for students in India. IGCSE not only gives a broader subject choice, but it also offers a flexible curriculum. With this flexibility comes confusion regarding acceptability of Cambridge International Examinations and subject choices , which most schools in India are incapable of handling. Also, CIE is unapproachable in India as they do not address studen queries. Our one-to-one session will help understand the Cambridge International Examinations better. The study abroad session is a comprehensive session for students and parents who want to explore options for Bachelor’s courses in Europe, US, Canada, Singapore and Australia. The session would help you understand various UG Programs offered by Universities, their selection criteria, the SAT / ACT examinations and the funding opportunities. The session would also help understand how to build a profile to apply for some of the Top Universities across the globe. For students who are interested in an Admission Consulting / Application hand-holding, you may attend this session before joining thelonger duration program offered by us.
Students & Parents of 9th to 11th
Summer Schools have become popular among students who wish to pursue courses in Universities during their High School summer breaks. These summer schools in India and Abroad help explore various subjects and career possibilities, which will help students take an informed decision while selecting subjects after tenth and evaluating their UG options. Summer Schools are mostly residential (online options are also available) and help students explore hostel life for a short duration to 10-15 days. In this session we help parents and students choose the right Summer Schools based on their interest. The session could be attended either in person or on a zoom call.
Career Consulting will include a 1 hour session either face-to-face or online with a mentor at GradSquare. The mentor would spent time on explaining the career opportunities or specific career paths as per the students requirements.
Yes, this is a one time session.
No, we are not admission agents, we do not help students to get admission to colleges. The objective of the sessions is to make students aware about various career opportunities.
For longer duration mentoring programs please contact the mentor after the first session. The long-term mentorship program is a personalized program and depending on the requirement of the student we will evaluate the possibility of enrolling the student into the program.
No, we do not conduct psychometric tests. Our sessions aim at spending time with the students and parents in clearing their career related doubts.
