Indian Institute of Mass Communication, A premier institute in India imparting quality education in the area of Journalism & New Media and Advertising & Public Relations has come out with its notification for the postgraduate courses. Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), an autonomous body was established under the Societies Registration Act 1867 by the Government of India through the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.

Indian Institute of Mass Communication is opening its gates for Postgraduate diploma courses for the academic year 2020-2021. The course tunes creative, innovative skills of the candidates through its specifically designed programs. The total duration of the course is for a year. Any student who has finished his Bachelors’s from any discipline can apply for the program. Final year students can also apply for the program. The selection of the candidates is a two-tier process that includes the Entrance Exam and Personal Interview.

Students can select from different PG Diploma courses available for this year.

 The total fee structure for the entire program costs Rs. 60,000 for Journalism in English and Journalism in Hindi, Rs. 1,10,000 for Radio & Television Journalism, Rs. 85,000 for Advertising and Public Relations and Rs. 33,000 for Journalism in Odia.

Candidates with a jest to work in Newspapers, TV Channels and Media Houses, Advertising and PR Agencies are most suitable for the program. Candidates can apply online directly from the IIMC Website.

The application forms for the Entrance exam for IIMC 2020 has been released from May 1, 2020, through online. The aspirants will be issued admit cards a week prior to when the entrance exam is being conducted. New dated will be issued for IIMC 2020 entrance exam very soon. Due to the current pandemic situation, the procedure for selection will be different for the written examination and interview round.

IIMC Entrance Exam 2020 | Eligibility Criteria

The IIMC admits only Indian nationals are allowed to take the entrance exam for postgraduate diploma courses. Candidates who apply for the exam should have a bachelor’s degree from any stream. Candidates should produce an original provisional certificate from their respective universities/colleges before August 31, 2020
